In 1978, Denis Kraybill wrote a book entitled The Upside Down Kingdom, where he explored Jesus’ call to care for the poor and suffering. When you consider what you have been learning about God’s character through the Lord’s Prayer, what do you imagine God’s kingdom to be like?
Each passage provides us with examples of Jesus’ upside down kingdom. Can you identify one value from each section of scripture?
Matthew mentions treasure, light, money and worry. What instruction does Jesus give here that will help you to live a more fulfilled life?
